It all started when…
The Peacetown Summer Concert Series originated 11 years ago at Ives Park with a modest 4 shows in that first year. The next few years it jumped from 6 shows to 8 shows and kept growing. In 2020 we were forced to present our shows virtually on YouTube, which was not nearly as fun, but better than nothing. We moved to the Barlow in 2021 because of COVID restrictions at Ives Park. The format of five stages was to keep congestion at a minimum because of health concerns. Folks seemed to really love the diversity, so we have continued the format It is free to the public, because we have a number of generous sponsors, the City of Sebastopol and lots of individuals like YOU who donate to make it happen. So as we begin the 11th season we ask that you dig deep and help us 'pay for the party'.
